The invention relates to a simulator stand for exhaust characteristics of a vehicle engine and belongs to environment
simulation testing devices. The simulator stand comprises a gas source, an intake testing section, a heating section, a pulse section, a
noise section and an outlet testing section. The gas source, the intake testing section, the heating section, the pulse section, the
noise section and the outlet testing section are connected with a
flange through a pipeline sequentially. The simulator stand can be used for comprehensive
simulation of exhaust flow rate, temperature, pulse and
noise of the vehicle engine and is suitable for
match test of silencers of various types of engines different in displacement. A noise source required for testing is provided by combining a
pulse generator and a
loudspeaker, the
pulse generator is used for producing high-strength low-frequency sounds, the
loudspeaker is used for producing high-frequency order sounds and
white noise, and the exhaust flow rate, temperature, pulse strength and
pulse frequency can be controlled independently and quantitatively.
