Abstract

The invention discloses a bridge plug for a horizontal well. The bridge plug comprises a central pipe. A boss is formed in the middle of the central pipe. A sealing and separating mechanism, an upper base sealing mechanism, a releasing mechanism and an upper joint are arranged from the boss to one side in sequence; and a cylindrical slip, a lower base sealing mechanism and a lower joint are arranged from the boss to the other side in sequence. The outer wall of the lower end of the upper joint is inwardly concave to form a releasing mounting part. The releasing mechanism is mounted on the releasing mounting part. The releasing mechanism comprises a releasing piston sleeve, a releasing piston, a releasing connection sleeve and a releasing connection head. The releasing piston and the releasing piston sleeve are arranged at the releasing mounting part. A first liquid inlet is formed at the part, near the upper end of the releasing piston, of the upper joint. The releasing piston is fixedly connected with the releasing piston sleeve by virtue of a releasing shear pin. The releasing piston sleeve and the releasing connection head are locked by a locking block. A groove corresponding to the locking block is formed at the outer side of the releasing piston between the releasing shear pin and the locking block. The bridge plug for the horizontal well has the advantages of simple structure, safety, reliability, and easiness for milling in a later stage.
