Abstract

The invention discloses a vehicle state prompting method and a vehicle terminal. The vehicle terminal comprises a power supply module, display module, a controller, and a bus controller connected with the controller, wherein the vehicle terminal is connected with an ECU (electronic control unit) on a vehicle through a vehicle bus; the controller includes a first control unit for controlling the bus controller to acquire information of the ECU connected with the vehicle bus; the bus controller is used for acquiring the information of the ECU connected with the vehicle bus through the vehicle bus, parsing the ECU information to obtain parsed ECU information, and transmitting the parsed ECU information back to the first control unit; and the first control unit is also used for transmitting the parsed ECU information from the bus controller to the display module. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the vehicle terminal can acquire the desired ECU information through the vehicle bus without the need of a plurality of external sensors to collect the in-vehicle data, thereby greatly simplifying installation wiring of the vehicle terminal.
