Abstract

The invention provides a retransmission method, a transmitting device and a communication system for automatically retransmitting a request of a transmitting device communicating with a receiving device in an MIMO-OFDM (Multiple Input Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) communication system. The retransmission method comprises a receiving step of receiving feedback information of positive acknowledgement or negative acknowledge of a result of a cyclic redundancy check based on the receiving device, and a selecting step of selecting a retransmission mode. The retransmission mode of data signals is selected from a first mode of using one antenna to send data and using the other antenna to send the other data simultaneously and a second mode of using a space diversity technology to send the data according to the feedback information.
