Abstract

A system configured to detect the presence of a passive touch object and a stylus includes a sensing device and a capacitive sensing array, wherein the capacitive sensing array is capacitively coupled to receive signals from the A transmit signal for the stylus. The system further includes a processing device configured to determine the position of the stylus on the capacitive sense array based on the transmitted signal and to synchronize the stylus to the capacitive sense array.
