Abstract

The invention discloses a foundation underpinning method around a foundation pit. The method comprises the following steps of: 1) selecting the place for excavating a foundation pit, and arranging a row of cast-in-situ bored piles on the two opposite sides of the building foundation close to the foundation pit side respectively; 2) excavating the soil close to the foundation pit side till the foundation bottom, and planting bars on the two opposite sides of the building foundation; 3) binding the pile cap beam steel bar, and enabling the planted bars to extend into the pile cap beam so that the cast-in-situ bored piles are connected with the building foundation; 4) pouring the pile cap beam, enabling the building foundation to penetrate through the pile cap beam to form a reinforced concrete structure with the cast-in-situ bored piles on the two opposite sides, wherein the side section of the structure has an 'n' shape; and 5) excavating the foundation pit. By using the method in the invention, a foundation protection support and expansion system is built, the side load of the original building foundation is underpinned to the pile bodies on the two sides, and the differential settlement and overturning collapse caused by excavating the shallow-foundation building can be avoided. The method disclosed by the invention can be applied to the excavation operation of a foundation pit with relatively shallow building foundations on adjacent sides.
