The device for the information copy and backup of the mobile terminal comprises a control chip, an SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card connecting circuit board and an SIM card base. When the mobile terminal writes a command, an SIM card is replaced by the control chip for processing, and thus information sent by a master chip of the mobile terminal is saved in the control chip; when the mobile terminal reads the command, the control chip is used for intercepting, reading the information saved in the control chip and then sending the information to the mobile terminal; an electric signal of the SIM card is led out by the SIM card connecting circuit board; and the SIM card base is used for inserting the SIM card. The speed, the performance and the reliability of a hardware adopted by the invention are superior to those of a software; a contact list relative command sent by a mobile phone can be replied by FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), and thus the compatibility of operation systems of various mobile phones is ensured; and a backup function for a mobile phone contact list is provided, and the contact list and short messages can be conveniently led in a new mobile phone even the mobile phone and the SIM card are lost.
