The forging method provided by the invention appropriately raises initial forging temperature and final forging temperature of the Grade R5 mooring chain accessory swivel shackle, appropriately raises forging temperature as surface crack will emerge when Grade R5 swivel shackle is being forged, and increases working allowance of forging machines.
