Abstract

A variable-frequency dimming control device for LEDs and an operating method of the variable-frequency dimming control device can provide dimming operation for a plurality of LEDs. The variable-frequency dimming control device comprises a direct current-alternating current converter, a resonant circuit, a transformer, a current detection unit and a control unit. The direct current-alternating current converter receives and converts direct current input voltage into alternating current voltage. The resonant circuit is electrically connected with the direct current-alternating current converter so as to receive and convert the alternating current voltage into resonant voltage. The transformer receives the resonant voltage and outputs alternating current driving voltage. The current detection unit is electrically connected with a secondary side winding of the transformer so as to output current frequency signals. The control unit is electrically connected with the current detection unit and the direct current-alternating current converter so as to receive dimming control signals and provide current control dimming operation for LEDs.
