Abstract

The invention relates to a universal intelligent lightning protection monitoring module and a method thereof. The monitoring module comprises a single chip, a liquid crystal display module, an MAX485 communication chip, a temperature sensor, a current conditioning circuit, an inductance coil, a power circuit and a relay. Work states of a lightning protection device are monitored by the single chip ATMEGA16L through collecting electric level at an output end of a photoelectric coupler TLP521; through the current conditioning circuit, lightning stroke times and leakage current are acquired; through the DS8b20 temperature sensor, a temperature signal of a valve block is transmitted to an ATMEGA16L interrupt port 1; through a pulse signal output by an oscillator, the temperature is measured; a thermal trip signal, the lightning stroke times and the temperature of the valve block and leakage current data which are acquired by the single chip ATMEGA16L are stored in a 24C16 storage chip and then are displayed through the LCD1602 liquid crystal display module; the data are converted into an MODBUS protocol and then are uploaded through an RS485 interface or an RS232 interface; and information of the lightning prevention device is displayed through a self liquid crystal display screen, so that the in-place observation can be carried out conveniently and then gaps in the prior art are filled.
