Problems solved by technology

[0027] The above various image scaling algorithms have the following defects: first, they are only aimed at the scaling of ordinary size images, and have not been applied to the specific field of 2D seismic image scaling
Second, most of them realize bicubic interpolation by directly proposing a cubic spline function, but it is not a complete bicubic interpolation
Third, after the image data is scaled and processed, no improvement is made to the display process to speed up the display
Although the zoom speed is fast, the enlarged image is blurred, the image is not beautiful, and the zoom effect is not good
[0030] Although the only geological interpretation software such as SMT can achieve the effect of bicubic interpolation by zooming, the zooming speed is slow. When the seismic section data exceeds the memory capacity and reaches massive data, most software cannot display or real-time display, real-time zooming completely impossible

Embodiment Construction

[0060] The method of the invention utilizes the parallelism and massiveness of the seismic data, first performs block processing on the massive data, and obtains data blocks of a suitable size within the display range. Secondly, through the GPU-accelerated bicubic interpolation algorithm, the data blocks of appropriate size are scaled. Finally, combining the characteristics of cuda and openGL, using cuda and openGL interoperability technology to accelerate fast display. The patented algorithm is applied to the color map display of massive seismic data, so that the geological interpretation software has both high-quality scaling effects and good interaction. Specific steps are as follows:

[0061] Step 1. Blocking of massive seismic profile data:

[0062] In order to achieve the purpose of real-time display of massive seismic image data, it is a commonly used and effective basic method to establish a storage and management mechanism based on block technology. Before scaling ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for fast zooming a two-dimensional seismic image based on a GPU (graphic processing unit). The method comprises the following steps of: introducing a GPU-accelerated bicubic interpolation algorithm into an seismic color image zooming application so as to improve the zooming and interaction effects; introducing a CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) and openGL (Open Graphics Library) interoperation technology into the color image zooming application so as to accelerate the display of the zoomed color image; and applying a data segmentation technology into the seismic profile color image display so as to solve the display and zooming problems of mass seismic profile data. The method disclosed by the invention has the characteristics of optimal bicubic interpolation effect, freeness from mosaics and smoothness for edge transition, fast zooming speed and capability of ensuring the real-time zooming of mass data. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the memory restriction of the adopted algorithm is much less than that of normal bicubic interpolation, so that the method is suitable for processing seismic profile images with mass data.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a GPU-based fast scaling method for two-dimensional seismic images. Background technique [0002] Image information is the main medium for human beings to transmit visual information. Images give people an intuitive and specific image of objects, which is incomparable to sound, language and text. In geological exploration, a large number of two-dimensional images such as two-dimensional seismic profile information obtained through geological interpretation software provide a lot of convenience for exploration work, and the accuracy of two-dimensional seismic image information determines the effect of geological interpretation software . [0003] In the field of geological exploration, because the number of 2D seismic sections processed is often on the order of tens of thousands, the amount of data is very large and massive, and the image operation interaction is real-time, and large-scale data graphics and images are drawn in ...
