An anchor chain locking method using the anchor chain locking device comprises the steps that the anchor chain locking device is arranged at the head of a lever chain stopper of a marine roller; after an anchor and mooring machine winds an anchor, a brake of the anchor and mooring machine is braked tightly, and a lever of the chain stopper is put down; and the anchor chain is connected with the bottom of the screw through the steel wire rope, and the hand wheel is rotated to enable the screw to ascend to tighten and fix the anchor chain. The anchor chain locking device is simple in structure and convenient to use. By means of the chain stopper with the locking device, an anchor stopper can be removed, and arrangement space of a deck is saved.
