Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of: 1, initializing a hypermedia document description file based on extensive makeup language (XML); 2, compiling an XML description file framework; 3, filling the number of associated multidimensional digital media and the basic information of associated multidimensional digital media documents which are needed by a user into a specified tag of the XML description file framework; 4, filling a multidimensional digital media document association relationship into the hypermedia document description file; and 5, filling hypermedia documents, multidimensional digital media documents and the safety attribute description and authority description of resources corresponding to every multidimensional digital media document into the hypermedia document description file. By the hypermedia document description method, the description of the association relationship among the multidimensional digital media documents can be realized, hypermedia dynamic increment modification, digital media association and digital media association deletion can be supported, hypermedia can be conveniently propagated in the way of filling hyperlink or increment appendage, and the management of the multidimensional digital media is simplified.
