A micropore-containing metamaterial substrate is manufactured by utilizing a micro-fine foamed injection molding process, and the density and dielectric constant of the substrate are reduced through the introduced air; a thermoplastic polymer serves as a main material for the substrate, and compared with a hard ceramic material, the substrate is light in weight, small in dielectric constant, low in loss and wide in application field; and moreover, according to the micro-fine foamed injection molding process, the dielectric constant of the substrate can be finely controlled, and the substrate has significance for realizing a graded index metamaterial and converting the metamaterial with reasonable design into a realistic product.
