Abstract

An embodiment of the invention provides a system, a device and a method for data storage. The method includes: the storage device receives data, written into a first CACHE of a first storage controller, transmitted by the first storage controller; and the storage device stores the data into NVRAMs (non-volatile random access memory) of at least two SSDs (solid state disks) in the storage device to enable a second storage controller to share and access to the NVRAMs. The NVRAMs allowing different storage controllers to share and access are arranged in the SSDs of the storage device and used for backing up and storing data, to be written into the storage device, of CACHEs of different storage controllers. Compared with the prior art that NVRAMs which are arranged in the storage controllers and cannot be accessed by other storage controllers are used for backing up data in each single CACHE and imaging data in other CACHEs, storage space of the storage system and storage time cost are reduced, and storage performance of the storage system is improved.
