Abstract

The invention provides a power supply monitoring system comprises a low dropout regulator (LDO), a collecting circuit, an analog to digital converter (ADC) and a control chip. The collecting circuit is used for collecting currents output by the LDO and converting the currents to analog voltage signals. The ADC is connected with the collecting circuit and is used for converting the analog voltage signals to digital voltage signals. The control chip is connected with the ADC and is used for receiving the digital voltage signals converted by the ADC, the received digital voltage signals are compared with a preset voltage threshold value stored in the control chip, and the work state of the LDO is controlled according to compared results. According to the power supply monitoring system control chip, the preset voltage threshold value can be easily changed in a software programmable mode, the power supply monitoring system can be conveniently adjusted, and accordingly one power supply monitoring system can conveniently monitor different daughter boards.
