The annular gear is connected with a mesh-shaped rotary drum, wherein the annular gear and the rotary drum rotate synchronously. A spray head is arranged above the rotary drum, and a groove-shaped scale collecting device is arranged below the rotary drum. A feed inlet and a discharge outlet are respectively formed in two ends of the rotary drum. A spiral plate-shaped propeller and a shaggy friction bar are arranged on the inner wall of the rotary drum. The sun gear is connected with a center shaft, and a shaggy stirring rod is arranged on the center shaft. When the horizontal type fishskin desquamation machine is used, the rotary drum rotates opposite to the center shaft, and fishskin desquamation is achieved by utilizing relative motion of the stirring rod and the friction bar. Automatic motion of fishskin materials from the feed inlet to the discharge outlet is achieved by utilizing the impeller of the rotary drum. Desquamated scales are filtered by utilizing a narrow slit structure of the rotary drum. The scales are filtered and eliminated by assistance of the spray head.
