The method comprises the following steps: (1) obtaining a real-time rotating speed of an underground drill stem; (2) determining whether the real-time rotating speed of the underground drill stem is adjusted or not; and if yes, performing step (3); if not, exiting a communication process; and (3) determining whether the adjusted rotating speed of the underground drill stem is re-adjusted to a rotating speed before adjusting or not within a certain time; if yes, an underground logging instrument is used for transmitting communication data to ground; and if not, exiting the communication process. The measurement-while-drilling two-way communication method and the system thereof can realize two-way communication of a measurement-while-drilling system and improve data transmission efficiency of the system.
