Abstract

The invention discloses an unstructured supplementary service data (USSD) service trigger method and system based on an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS). The method includes: configuring Request-uniform resource identifier (URI) parameters in a service point trigger (SPT) of an initial filter criteria (iFC) into USSD service access codes, processing the parameters through a regular expression and performing configuration in a general configuration mode; enabling a terminal to transmit service request messages to a serving-call session control function (S-CSCF), wherein the Request-URI parameters in a request line comprise the USSD service access codes; enabling the S-CSCF to sequentially use the SPT of the iFC to be matched with the USSD service access codes of the service request messages; and enabling the S-CSCF to transmit the service request messages to an application server (AS) corresponding to the current SPT when the Request-URI parameters in the current SPT are matched with the USSD service access codes contained in the Request-URI of the service request messages. By means of the technical scheme of the USSD service trigger method and system, correct service recognition and triggering can be achieved, and a large amount of configuration work for parameters of the service access codes can be avoided.
