Tested fruit is located on a conductive rubber tray and between two parallel plates. A controller is respectively connected to the parallel plates, the conductive rubber tray, the metal pipe and a precision capacitance tester. The controller and the precision capacitance tester transfer data through a serial port. By measuring the coaxial capacitance CV between the fruit and the metal pipe, and the equivalent capacitance C between the parallel plates, the sugar content value of the fruit can be calculated according to a given prediction model.
