Abstract

The invention provides a system for active control of a transporting mode of water in a porous medium. The system comprises a water transporting device, a measuring device and a pressure gradient control device, wherein a water-permeable part made of microporous material is arranged on the water transporting device; the water transporting device is in seal connection with the measuring device; the pressure gradient control device is in seal connection with the measuring device; the pressure gradient control device applies different degrees of vacuum to the measuring device, so that a pressure gradient is generated between the interior and the exterior of the water transporting device; the measuring device is used for measuring the transporting amount of a water body. The invention has the benefits that the system has the functions of changing the water content of a soil body and further changing hydraulic characteristics of the soil body; meanwhile, the system can measure the transporting amount of water in the porous medium.
