Abstract

The invention discloses a process for manufacturing a bib. The process is characterized by sequentially comprising steps of firstly, selecting raw materials including a pure cotton fabric and rubber; secondly, clipping the pure cotton fabric to form two rectangular fabrics with identical shapes; thirdly, heating the rubber at a high temperature, and performing extrusion forming on the rubber in a forming machine to manufacture a waterproof material; fourthly, cutting the waterproof material to obtain a waterproof material with the size identical to the sizes of the rectangular fabrics; fifthly, manufacturing an upper layer and a base layer of the bib from the rectangular fabrics and manufacturing a middle layer of the bib from the waterproof material; sixthly, connecting the upper layer, the middle layer and the base layer with one another by adhesion agents to obtain a semi-finished product; seventhly, sealing the peripheral edge of the semi-finished product to obtain a finished product. The lengths of the rectangular fabrics range from 8 centimeters to 12 centimeters, and the widths of the rectangular fabrics range from 6 centimeters to 8 centimeters.
