The climbing robot is specially designed for characteristics of the electric high-voltage line tower; transverse angle bars on the high-voltage line tower are sequentially grasped by the climbing robot through the claw hooks, which can rotate horizontally, at the upper ends of the left guide rail and the right guide rail; and the main gear can be driven by the stepping motor to sequentially rotate clockwise and anticlockwise, so that the climbing robot can climb upwards.
