Abstract

Disclosed are a transmission and reflection dual-use micro-motor optical modulator and flat panel imagescope and a manufacturing method thereof. The optical modulator comprises a light splitter, integrated circuits and light switches, and can be equipped with a color filter and a necessary protective screen. The light splitter is used for leading an incident light uniformly distributed on an incident surface thereof to each of serially separated imaging points, and condensing the light of each imaging point on the incident surface of the light to only occupy a small part of the area of the imaging points. The remaining majority area of the imaging points is used for placing the integrated circuits and the light switches, and for controlling a final direction of the light to achieve control of the color and light intensity of the imaging points. A plurality of methods for designing and manufacturing the optical modulator and the light switches, and an automatic aligned spherical barrel structure used for placing a circular isolated ball on the optical modulator and applied for the light modulator or a general micro-motor structure to be connected with a protective screen thereof and to maintain a fixed distance therebetween are disclosed.
