The method includes: using a programmable logic device to collect the voltage data of each sub-module, and setting N cascaded comparison and exchange units in the programmable logic device; allowing the collected voltage to serially pass N comparison and exchange units, saving the data in a tmp register when the data enters the comparison and exchange units for the first time, and comparing the data subsequently entering the comparison and exchange units with the data in the tmp register; outputting the current data to next-level comparison and exchange units after comparison or saving the current data in the tmp register to achieve voltage sorting.
