Abstract

Provided are a display apparatus, a user terminal apparatus, an external apparatus, a display method, a data receiving method and a data transmitting method. The user terminal apparatus according to various exemplary embodiments includes a communication unit which communicates with an external apparatus, an image sensor unit which photographs an image being displayed on the display apparatus at a photographing speed above a frame rate of the display apparatus, and a control unit which controls to identify pattern information based on a placement of a pattern frame included in the image photographed by the image sensor unit, and to receive data related to the display apparatus from the external apparatus based on the identified pattern information.
