Abstract

The present invention relates to a system and method for controlling the operating of at least one consumption appliance (31) by means of an automated selector switch (35) controlled by an energy saving device (40) connected to a management center (10) for switching said consumption appliance (31) between several operating modes, namely at least a limited power default mode and a free power mode.
