The WLAN intelligent antenna system and the method for transmitting the data are used for solving the problem of losses of uplink sensitivity of the WLAN intelligent antenna system. The WLAN intelligent antenna system comprises an antenna array and at least one WiFi intelligent antenna subsystem, the WiFi intelligent antenna subsystems comprise WiFi sublevel systems and radio frequency and antenna selection sublevel systems, the WiFi sublevel systems comprise transmitting terminals and receiving terminals, the radio frequency and antenna selection sublevel systems comprise radio frequency switches and transmit-receive switches, the radio frequency switches comprise input terminals and a plurality of paths of output terminals, and the transmit-receive switches comprise input terminals, first output terminals and second output terminals. According to transmitting channels, the transmitting terminals are connected with the input terminals of the radio frequency switches, one path of the output terminal and the first output terminal of each radio frequency switch are connected, and the other output terminals of the radio frequency switches are connected with the antenna array. According to receiving channels, the receiving terminals are connected with the second output terminals, and the input terminals of the transmit-receive switches are connected with one antenna of the antenna array.
