Abstract

The invention relates to a method for reducing a random access collision in machine type communication user equipment of machine type communication-based communication system, wherein the machine type communication user equipment has low mobility. The method comprises the following steps that: a time adjustment parameter is recorded as a first time adjustment parameter during successful communication with a base station; when a new random access needs to be initiated, a random access guiding message is sent to the base station; a random access response message from the base station is received, wherein the random access response message includes a second time adjustment parameter; the recorded first time adjustment parameter is compared with the received second time adjustment parameter; if the difference value of the first time adjustment parameter and the second time adjustment parameter is in a predetermined error range, an L2 / L3 message is sent to the base station continuously; and otherwise, a new random access is initiated again after predetermined time regression is carried out.
