Abstract

The saw band welding device and method aim at solving the problems that due to the fact that when saw bands are welded through existing laser welding or existing electron beam welding, welding slag exists at the welded joint positions, the saw bands are disorderly contracted frequently, and the quality of the saw bands is influenced. The saw band welding device comprises a feeding pushing pawl, a positive electrode pressing plate and an electrode plate, wherein the feeding pushing pawl is used for feeding formed saw band backing materials to a welding point, the positive electrode pressing plate is arranged below the welding point and used for tightly pressing the saw band backing materials to the welding station to enable the saw band backing materials to serve as the positive electrode, and the electrode plate is arranged above the welding point to serve as the negative electrode. The electrode plate is electrically connected with to-be-welded tooth materials, the positive electrode pressing plate is electrically connected with the saw band backing materials, and the saw band backing materials and the to-be-welded tooth materials are welded in a spot welded mode.
