Abstract

The invention discloses a glass pendant moulding device and method. The device comprises a frame, a motor, a cone-shaped gear reducing mechanism, a synchronous belt reducing mechanism, a conveyer belt feeding mechanism, an alcohol blast burner, a compression moulding mechanism, a sensor, a cutting mechanism and a spring quantitative feeding mechanism. The device and method disclosed by the invention are suitable for production of glass pendants in various shapes which are obtained by processing glass rod materials by adopting compression moulding in a fractional and sectional manner. The glass rod materials are clamped and fixed on the conveyer belt feeding mechanism, the motor drives a belt wheel engaged with the conveyer belt to feed, the compression moulding mechanism extrudes and moulds the tail parts of the glass rods, the cutting mechanism cuts the tail parts of the moulded glass rods, and the glass rod materials are quantitatively fed under the effect of the spring quantitative feeding mechanism so as to make preparation for next forming. The device disclosed by the invention is simple in structure, convenient to install and maintain, simple in using method, low in demand on technological level of a worker, high in production efficiency, simple to process and low in cost and suitable for producing glass pendants in various shapes.
