The method includes the following steps that a nursery based on wood walnut rootstock is built and sowed, and seedling cultivation is carried out by means of degradable cloth bags; a cutting orchard is built, wood walnuts serve as rootstock, and fruiting branches of grown trees of American pecans are used as scions; walnut seedlings grow downwards, and principal roots penetrate out of the cloth bags by 2-3 cm and are cut off; nursery stock is transplanted in winter, and it is required that the cloth bags and soil are integrally transplanted. After the wood walnut seedlings grow into trees basically, grafting modification is carried out on fruit trees through the fruiting branches of grown trees of American pecans; redundant branches which grafting modification is not conducted on are removed. According to the method, the grafted seedlings can be cultivated, and the time when the high yield period of the American pecans is reached is shortened to 3-5 years from original 10-12 years after grafting is carried out.
