Embodiment Construction

[0037] The method for statically predicting the bottom hole density of the water-based drilling fluid will be described in detail below in conjunction with an example. Such as figure 1 As shown, the specific steps of the static prediction method for water-based drilling fluid bottom hole density are as follows:

[0038] Step 1: Calculate the geothermal gradient of the adjacent well by using the logging data of the adjacent well as the geothermal gradient of the measured well; the logging data of the adjacent well includes the surface temperature, the vertical depth sequence and the temperature value corresponding to the vertical depth sequence, and the calculation formula of the geothermal gradient is: T(H j )=T ground +GH j , where T(H j ) means that the vertical depth of the adjacent well is H j Formation temperature at this time, because of the heat exchange with the drilling fluid, the temperature of the drilling fluid at this vertical depth is the same as that of the...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method or for predicting the static density of a water-based drilling fluid at the bottom of a well. The method based on a same ground temperature gradient of two adjacent wells comprises the following steps: obtaining the ground temperature gradient of an adjacent well according to the measured data of the adjacent well as the ground temperature gradient of a predicated well, obtaining the temperatures corresponding to all vertical depths of the predicated well, respectively measuring the ground temperature, the density of the drilling fluid and the solid phase content of the drilling fluid, and recursively obtaining the static density of the drilling fluid at the bottom of the well according to a relationship among the temperature, the pressure and the density of the drilling fluid between adjacent vertical depths in order to predicate the density of the drilling fluid at the bottom of the well. The method uses a common thermometer, a drilling fluid density meter and a solid phase content measuring instrument to predicate the density of the drilling fluid at the bottom of the well, can be very easily realized and popularized in the field, and is of great significance of realizing near-balanced drilling and reservoir protection and improving the mechanical drilling speed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of petroleum and natural gas drilling, and relates to a method for statically predicting the bottom hole density of water-based drilling fluid. Background technique [0002] In the field of oil and gas drilling, drilling fluid is mainly used to transfer hydraulic energy, carry cuttings, balance formation pressure, and protect reservoirs. Therefore, drilling fluid is often referred to as the blood of drilling, which shows its importance. [0003] At present, water-based drilling fluid is commonly used in conventional well types such as vertical wells, directional wells and horizontal wells. The main properties of drilling fluid include drilling fluid loss, drilling fluid viscosity, drilling fluid rheology, drilling fluid inhibition, drilling fluid density, etc., among which drilling fluid density is one of the main indicators of drilling fluid, if the drilling fluid density is lower than the formation void ...
