Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a light source substrate for an edge-light type light source module which can prevent defect generated by a sealing means for the light source substrate coming into contact with a light guide plate and can improve reliability and safety. The light source substrate is used in the edge-light type light source module by COB (chip-on-board) mounting a plurality of light-emitting elements (LED elements (15)) on a base material (11). Light source substrates (30 to 90) are configured to have a first bulge that forms a dam (17) for housing a sealing means and a second bulge (18) that is formed to be higher than the first bulge and prevents the sealing means from coming into contact with other members.
