Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for realizing data compression of a transformer substation three-dimensional model. The method comprises: traversing sub component model data in a transformer substation three-dimensional equipment model; carrying out grouping matching on sub components in the transformer substation equipment model by using a model feature matching method and obtaining a reference model from each kind of sub component model set; on the basis of the reference model, calculating spatial transformation parameters of the involved kind of all component models relative to the reference model; according to the calculated spatial transformation parameters, carrying out indexing and recoding on the transformer substation equipment model to complete data compression of the three-dimensional scene of the transformer substation. According to the embodiment of the invention, united coding is carried out based on the reference models, thereby substantially reducing the data flow of the three-dimensional scene of the transformer substation and realizing data compression of the three-dimensional scene of the transformer substation.
