An instant communication method across users on open platforms includes the steps that (A) a client-side SDK requests identify authentication from a third-party open platform and logs onto a cloud database; (B) the client-side SDK sends communication object information to a server-side SDK and obtains the request so that prestored communication object information and corresponding server domain names can be obtained from the cloud database through the server-side SDK; (C) the client-side SDK sends a communication request to the server-side SDK so that server domain names corresponding to communication objects to be communicated can be obtained through the server-side SDK, and message content to be communicated is further sent to server-side SDKs of the communication objects through the server-side SDK according to the server domain names for information transfer.
