Abstract

An automatic water diverting device of a water pump comprises a three-way pipe (3), a ball valve switch (4), a self-sucking device (14), and a self-sucking device tee joint (5), wherein the three-way pipe (3) is fixedly connected with an exhaust funnel (2) of an engine (1), an upper opening is provided with the ball valve switch (4), a lower opening is provided with the self-sucking device (14) and connected with the self-sucking device tee joint (5), and a solenoid connection opening (R) of an inclined pipe is sleeved by an air suction pipe (6) and communicated with a valve switch (Y) of a water inlet end of a water pump (8). A thin inner hole (V) of the bottom end of a self-sucking middle hole (U) of the self-sucking device (14) is through a taper pipe opening (J). When an engine (1) is started, the valve switch (Y) is opened, the ball valve switch (4) is closed, negative pressure is formed in the self-sucking device tee joint (5), and air in the water inlet end of the water pump (8) is sucked into the self-sucking device tee joint (5) and outwards discharged through an exhaust pipe (Q); a water sucking pipe (10) sucks water (S) into an inner cavity of the water pump (8), the ball valve switch (4) is opened, the valve switch (Y) is closed, and the water pump (8) normally works.
