Abstract

The invention discloses a green tea composite chicken feed additive capable of enhancing the immunity of chickens. The additive is prepared from summer and autumn tea, dandelion, folium cortex eucommiae, radix isatidis, gouttuynia cordata, liquorice and the like, and has multiple effects of resisting bacteria and viruses, enhancing the immunity of animals and the like. A feeding test shows that the additive can improve all immune indexes, such as the serum newcastle disease antibody titer, the serum immune globulins and immune organ indexes, of laying hens and meat chickens; meanwhile, compared with an antibiotic added experimental group, the breeding test has the advantage that the death rate of animals in a treatment group does not have an obvious difference. The green tea composite chicken feed can be used as an additive for healthy breeding of the laying hens and the meat chickens; the raw materials are readily available and low in cost; the green tea composite chicken feed additive has a wide market prospect and high social and economical benefits.
