Abstract

The invention discloses a digital down-converting system for implementing a frequency-agility metrewave radar. The digital down-converting system comprises a DDC (direct digital control) module, an NOC (numerical controlled oscillator) module, an A/D (analog/digital) sampling module, a frequency mixing module and a filtering module; the DDC module outputs working frequency points of a radar system to the NCO module and controls time sequence of the entire DDC module, the A/D sampling module quantizes radar echo signals, frequency mixing with local oscillating signals output by the NCO module to acquire zero intermediate frequency IQ two-way signals, and finally the filtering module filters to output the satisfactory zero intermediate frequency IQ two-way signals. Compared with the prior art, the digital down-converting system has the advantages that the working frequency points of the frequency-agility metrewave radar are limited and discontinuous, an implementation different with an original NCO module is adopted, resource consumption of an FPGA (field programmable gate array) is reduced, the local oscillating signals higher in frequency resolution can be acquired as well, a digital down-converting function of the frequency-agility metrewave radar is well achieved, and the high-quality local oscillating signals are required for frequency agility.
