Abstract

The invention discloses a shale oil and gas resource potential grading evaluation criterion method and relates to an evaluation criterion. The method mainly includes: discussing oiliness of different types of argillaceous dolomite according to absolute oil content (S1) and relative oil content parameter (S1 / TOC), establishing shale oil resource grading evaluation criterion by utilizing knee points according to correlation between the S1 and the TOC, and dividing shale oil and gas resources into four classes of enriched, medium enriched, low-efficiency and invalid resources. By the principle and the method, the oiliness of the different types of argillaceous dolomite is discussed from the perspectives of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion, and a method for quickly evaluating shale oil and gas resource potential is established. In addition, the shale oil and gas resource potential grading evaluation criterion is provided from the perspectives of shale oil and gas resource quantity and shale oil recoverability for the first time, theoretical support is provided for optimal selection of basins containing shale oil and gas in China, and the shale oil and gas resource potential grading evaluation criterion is directly related to decision making for investment and exploration direction of an exploratory area.
