Embodiment Construction

[0035] In order to make the purpose, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the implementation manners of the present invention will be further described in detail below.

[0036] Gradient grids have excellent characteristics such as natural and smooth color transitions, infinite scaling, and small space occupation and data volume. More and more artists choose to use gradient grids for realistic vector graphics production. Most of the current methods for editing gradient meshes are manual operations, and the process is cumbersome. Taking color editing as an example, if you want to change the color of a certain area, you need to change all the control points in the area one by one, which is time-consuming and laborious, and it is very easy to cause unnatural color transitions. In order to improve the user experience, there is currently a method of recoloring the gradient mesh based on related images. However, this method requires the user to select ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a gradient mesh recoloring method and relates to the field of computer image processing. The method comprises the steps of establishing a control mesh, wherein the control mesh is the expansion of a gradient mesh and is a 4*4 mesh with 16 control points; determining mesh points used for color marking according to the mesh point marking condition; conducting blended coloring on the control mesh through the mesh points used for color marking to obtain a recolored gradient mesh. According to the method, extra reference images do not need to be provided by a user, proper colors are directly selected to be applied to the gradient mesh, the operation that the control points are edited and colored one by one is not needed, operation is convenient, the calculating process is simple and efficient, and a result image can be rendered in a short time.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of computer image processing, in particular to a gradient grid recoloring method. Background technique [0002] (1) Gradient mesh (see literature [1][2]): Vector graphics is a way to represent images based on mathematical equations such as points, lines, or polygons in computer graphics. Its advantages lie in Save less information, can be infinitely zoomed, parameters can be modified, etc. Gradient mesh is a commonly used vector graphics representation method. The gradient mesh is represented as a regular 2D grid, which defines and stores the position, color, and gradient information of the position and color in the parameter space of each grid vertex. Based on this information, a rasterized image can be generated by bicubic nonlinear interpolation. Creating a vector graphic with a gradient mesh is very time-consuming and labor-intensive. In view of this, literature [1] proposed a method of generating gradient mes...
