Problems solved by technology

[0004] However, in the above method, the mobile terminal adopts the active broadcast method, and the IPC device needs to waste the network card interruption to process the broadcast message. At the same time, the mobile terminal needs to periodically broadcast messages, which consumes power.
In addition, the use of dual-band wireless routers (AP) has become a trend, and the IPC cannot automatically select the frequency band for access. The existing solutions cannot automatically allocate wireless devices such as IPC to the 2.4G and 5.8G frequency bands in a balanced manner.

Embodiment Construction

[0032] The technical solution of the present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments, and the following embodiments do not constitute a limitation of the present invention.

[0033] The network diagram of video surveillance through wide area network is as follows figure 1 As shown, the network camera IPC in the enterprise or home is connected to the network hard disk video recorder NVR through a wireless router. When there is no NVR, it can also be directly connected to the WAN through a wireless router. After installing the video surveillance client software on mobile terminals such as smartphones and tablets, users can access the NVR or IPC directly through the WAN to perform video surveillance business operations.

[0034] Since the user's mobile terminal installed with the client has the ability to wirelessly access the wireless router, if the wireless router is dual-band (2.4G and 5.8G), the user's ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for configuring IP cameras to have access to a wireless router. The method comprises the steps that a user acquires the SSID, the login password and the encryption mode of the wireless router, the frequency band which the wireless router supports and the current working channel of the wireless router through a mobile terminal provided with a client-side; the mobile terminal monitors private broadcast messages sent by the IP cameras to request for wireless access information, acquires frequency bands which the IP cameras support, allocates frequency bands and channels to the IP cameras requesting for the wireless access information according to the frequency band and the current working channel of the wireless router and the frequency bands of the IP cameras, allocates the IP cameras uniformly to the frequency bands which the wireless router supports, encrypts the wireless access information and then issues the encrypted wireless access information to the IP cameras; the IP cameras have access to the wireless router after receiving the wireless access information. By means of the method, the IP cameras can automatically and equally have access to the wireless router within two frequency bands, and operation is easy and convenient.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of video monitoring, in particular to a method for configuring a network camera IPC to access a wireless router in video monitoring. Background technique [0002] Video surveillance is an important part of the security system. Video surveillance is widely used in many occasions because of its intuition, accuracy, timeliness and rich information content. In recent years, with the rapid development of computer, network, image processing and transmission technology, the popularization trend of video surveillance has become more and more obvious. In particular, WAN video surveillance has developed rapidly, and users use mobile terminals such as mobile phones to monitor video within the company or at home. But now a large number of ordinary users are generally not relevant professionals, and the operation of establishing a video surveillance connection is relatively complicated, so how to enable users to build a...
