Abstract

The coating comprises styrene and acrylic ester copolymerization emulsion, a zirconium-aluminic acid ester coupling agent, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, sericite powder, hollow microbeads, metal oxide, a leveling agent, a pigment dispersing agent, a bactericide mildew preventive, a pH regulator, hydroxyethyl cellulose and a defoaming agent, the preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing and stirring a filtrate, prepared from the raw materials, and a curing agent according to the weight ratio of (1-2):0.5, to obtain the heat-insulating coating for the external wall. The curing agent is a mixture of 70-90% of silicate solution and 10-30% of water, and is obtained by evenly mixing and stirring silicate solution and water. The heat-insulating coating for an external wall has the characteristics of being strong in chemical resistance, good in weather resistance and stain resistance, water resistance, wear resistance, and dampproof effect, high in glossiness, long in the service life of a coated film, and the like, and also has the reflection and heat insulation functions.
