Embodiment Construction

[0019] Below is a specific embodiment of the inventive method in practice, and its process is as follows:

[0020] Taking Hebei elm as an example, select good-quality elm seeds (Umqian), consult the literature and combine practical experience to determine that the salt tolerance limit of Hebei elm is 4‰ of total salt content, and prepare a medium with a total salt content of 4‰. The sandy loam, coastal saline soil and inland saline soil are prepared according to the well-mixed and uniform soil, and then undergo salt-tolerant domestication. First, sow elm money into the medium with a total salt content of 4‰, prepare a mixed solution of sodium chloride and potassium chloride with a salt content of 4‰, and use it to irrigate the medium to maintain the balance of the total salt content of the medium. After 20 days, observe the growth and development status of the seeds, count the well-grown seedlings on the existing medium, prepare the sodium chloride and potassium chloride mixed...

Abstract

The invention relates to a breeding method for culturing salt-tolerant plants. The method comprises the steps of selecting quality full seeds; determining the salt tolerance range of the plants selected; preparing a culture medium of which the total salt content is the same as the upper limit of the salt tolerance range of the plants selected; planting the plants in the culture medium within the upper limit of the salt tolerance range; observing the development and growth conditions of the seeds after at least 14 days of planting; timely removing dead seedlings and maintaining well-growing seedlings; naturalizing the salt tolerance; gradually improving the total salt content of the culture medium according to the method in step (4); naturalizing to obtain new variety which can normally grow in the culture medium with high total salt content. With the adoption of the method, the salt-tolerant variety can be sieved within a short period; the method is small in cost, simple and convenient to operate, and high in breeding efficiency. The formulas are shown in the specification.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of plant salt tolerance, in particular to a breeding method for salt-tolerant plants. Background technique [0002] The adverse effect of too much soluble salt in the soil on plants is called salt damage, and the ability of plants to tolerate salt damage is called salt tolerance. Soil salinization is a problem in many areas of China. Affected by this, many crops, trees, etc. cannot grow normally, resulting in waste of land and great loss. With the development of industry and the reduction of arable land, salinized soil has been valued as an important land reserve resource. People have tried to transform saline-alkali land through reasonable drainage and irrigation, fresh water washing, and application of chemical modifiers, but it is often difficult to popularize because of high cost and little effect. Breeding salt-tolerant varieties through biotechnology to utilize and improve salinized soil has become ...
