Embodiment 1

[0038] The vulcanized rubber waste (waste tires) is crushed into blocks or flakes with a size of 2 to 4 cm through a pulverizer, using a co-rotating twin-screw extruder with a special configuration. The basic configuration of the extruder is: screw diameter D = 65mm , L / D=72, motor power P=120KW, screw combination is set to 8 alternating shear force cycles. The processing conditions of the extruder are: the maximum temperature is 280°C, the screw speed is 600rpm, and the die pressure is 15MPa. The vulcanized rubber can be desulfurized and depolymerized after being processed by the extruder. The material has fluidity at high temperature. The desulfurized and depolymerized rubber is vulcanized again to prepare vulcanized rubber, and its mechanical properties are tested. The properties of the materials before and after desulfurization and depolymerization are shown in Table 1.

Abstract

The invention discloses a recovery technique of vulcanized rubber waste. The technique comprises the following steps: pulverizing the vulcanized rubber waste, adding into an extruder, and carrying out desulfurization and depolymerization on molecular chains of the vulcanized rubber waste under the actions of high temperature and alternating shear, thereby implementing recovery of the vulcanized rubber, wherein the extrusion temperature of the extruder is 240-300 DEG C, and the die pressure is 3-20 MPa; the length-diameter ratio of the extruder screw is 56-80, and the screw speed is 400-1200 rpm, so that the shear linear speed received by the material is greater than 4 m/s; the number of alternating periods of the screw combination holding shearing force of the extruder is 2-10; the treatment time of the material is greater than 30 seconds; and the extruder is a single screw extruder or double screw extruder. The recovery technique disclosed by the invention can desulfurize and depolymerize the vulcanized rubber in an environment-friendly and efficient way, so that the desulfurized and depolymerized rubber has high temperature fluidity and processability, and can be used for revulcanization or thermoplastic material toughening.
