First of all, a GDC signal-to-noise ratio threshold in case of rapid link self-adaption and a GDC signal-to-noise ratio threshold in case of a low-speed link self-adaption are determined respectively; then modulation orders of a relay link during respective application of the rapid link self-adaption and the low-speed link self-adaption are determined; then a link self-adaptive type corresponding to a larger modulation order in the rapid link self-adaption and the low-speed link self-adaption is selected as a link self-adaptive type determined by the relay link; and finally, a relay mode corresponding to the relay link with a maximum modulation order is selected as a relay mode for forwarding data.
