Abstract

The present embodiment relates to a quantum key distribution (QKD) method and system. More particularly, the present embodiment relates to a method for processing a double click event generated when a quantum signal is detected in order to secure safety of a QKD system, and a QKD system using the same. According to one aspect of the present embodiment, an attacker's aggressive act is detected without the use of TRNG and the number of occurrences of double click events is reflected in the length of a final key, thereby securing safety of the QKD system.
