The rotary-type power generating air cylinder comprises two parts that are an air cylinder body and a piezoelectric power generating apparatus, wherein the power generating apparatus is connected to a back end of the air cylinder through a thread pair; the piezoelectric power generating apparatus comprises a cavity body end cover, a front part cavity body component, a rotary component and a back part cavity body component; under the effect of shock of the pneumatic pressure and the fluctuation of the air pressure, a rotary shaft is driven by a rotary fan to rotate to further make a metal elastic substrate and a piezoelectric element deformed; based on the positive piezoelectric effect, electric energy is produced; and since the piezoelectric element is driven by the elastic restoring force of the metal substrate to restore, the electric energy is produced again.
