The method is characterized by, to begin with, carrying out mutual correlation information calculating by utilizing row / line projection vectors of an image; then, searching the displacement amount in the horizontal direction and vertical direction respectively, which allows the mutual correlation information to be maximal, the displacement amount being displacement value of the image; carrying out threshold value judgment on the variance of the image, adding assumed displacement, then, carrying out two-way registration on the image according to the corrected displacement value to obtain a superposed overlapping region; and carrying out correction parameter update on the image in the overlapping region to finish the self-adaptive correction process of the non-uniformity correction method. The innovation point of the method is characterized in that the problem of ghost image can be effectively removed by utilizing the image registration to carry out non-uniformity correction; through the adding of the two-way registration, the overlapping region of the image is improved, and registering effect of the image is enhanced; and through the adding of the self-adaptive assumed displacement, scene adaptation capability of the algorithm can be enhanced.
