Abstract

The invention provides a method for detecting a polystyrene reworked material in an extruded polystyrene board. The method comprises a step (1) of cutting pressed pieces; a step (2) of respectively taking 3-5 mg of samples obtained in the step (1) and utilizing a differential scanning calorimeter to perform testing; (3) calibrating glass transition temperature of each sample; (4) determining a standard curve of the glass transition temperature of the extruded polystyrene board along with the content of the polystyrene reworked material; a step (5) of taking 3-5 mg of to-be-detected extruded polystyrene board and repeating the step (2); a step (6) utilizing collected data to calibrate the glass transition temperature of the to-be-detected extruded polystyrene board; and (7) finding from the standard curve a point corresponding to the glass transition temperature obtained in the step (6), wherein the x-coordinate corresponding to the point is the mass percent content of the polystyrene reworked material of the to-be-detected extruded polystyrene board. The method is convenient and quick, the result is accurate, and the difference which is caused to a thermal analysis method serving as the reworked material detection method and is caused by process differences is eliminated.
